I am the consumer tech editor for E&T, the award winning title published by The Institution of Engineering & Technology (IET). I also present for IET.TV and I edit the Consumer Tech Knowledge Network.

Because of my indepth knowledge, I have been quoted by national newspapers and radio on consumer technology issues.

My journalism career started when I got a temporary job working as an editorial assistant on respected rock music paper, Melody Maker which was published by IPC in 1990 during my gap year before attending university.

I have worked for a variety of business titles. Although my full time role is wholly concerned with consumer technology, I have written extensively on finance industry - when that sector was experiencing happier times.

Thus I have demonstrated an ability to turn very complex issues - whether it is technology or finance into plain and engaging language.
